Vedic Art Retreat, Molino, Tuscany
28 May – 1 June, 2020 Sorry to tell, but the workshop is cancelled, there will be a new date coming.
“The feet of the earth and the brushes in the sky”
Embraced by nature, we paint in the beautiful surroundings around “il Molino” in southern Tuscany. There will be some colorful days of Vedic Art and meditation in nature with Christine Persson who is an artist and teacher of Vedic Art and has lived in the area for 30 years.
We start on Thursday, May 28 in the afternoon and end after breakfast on Monday, June 01. The retreat is suitable for both beginners and those who have attended Vedic Art courses before. Vedic Art is based on 17 principles / exercises that stimulate your creativity in depth and allow you to be who you are and express what you want without being judged or valued. No artistic ability is required.
Il Molino is a beautiful classic Italian villa consisting of double and triple rooms. A nice walk will take you to the nearest little, small village. Katriona, who owns Il Molino, is the granddaughter of Axel Munthe, who during his lifetime was a royal doctor and who established Villa San Michele on the island of Capri, and about Katriona being home to Il Molino when we are there she is happy to tell about her grandfather’s exciting life.
We paint all day, with breaks for meditation under the oak guided by Christine, or Katriona. In addition to painting, there is time to be quiet, hike among the olive trees, or swim in the pool. The day ends with us enjoying the beautiful sunset that Il Molino offers and then we have a good dinner together.
There are a total of 12 places. For registration and more information contact Christine email: email@example.com
